What are prevx processes?

I just installed prevx; I see two prevx processes 7k and 13 k, with .6% cpu average. Very good, but am I missing any?

I am extremely confused too about price and word free on exe installer?

Is resident protection available on free prevx? This is all I need, since don't need removal or scanner.

(I refuse any per machine or per year av contracts. )

The version that is downloaded is the free scanner with some of SafeOnline for free as well, however, it does not contain realtime protection or malware removal for most threats (although it will block/remove low risk threats like adware).

The free version is time-unlimited, so you can scan and assess the security of your PC for free without paying, or you can upgrade to include realtime protection at any point if you wish.
