yes you will , while everything you do on the internet as long as your browsing sandboxed eveything Is trapped with in the box, included downloads etc. If for some remote chance something escapes from within the sandbox,Thats where avast hopefully comes in play. One other note if you have not done so, I would suggest the auto deletion upon browser close If you have not done so.ps Is ST the issue?

No freezing so far. I noticed it freezes most on youtube. I think it might be because it was having a downtime. I also have the auto delete enabled. Defense Plus and Spyware Terminator's real time shield are disabled.

Good news Cheater. Now give Sandoxie a bit of time to get used to and I doubt you will ever surf without it! :thumb:

Yes, give it time. I wouldn't like a thread titled : "Well I uninstalled Sandboxie". ;)

A 400 kb or so download, a meg or so installed and so configurable that nothing can run or connect to the net except what you allow!

Stuff all resource usage and more secure than any other app when global processes are added.

IMHO the best security app for surfing ever!:thumb:

    PS: I am a Sandboxie fanboy.:D

Uninstalled Spyware Terminator to see if that is what is causing Firefox to crash. If that is not it I'll do a reinstall of Sandbox.

    Hi,

    two questions:
    - Why is NoScript with Sandbox still necessary? I have set SBIE to automatically delete the sandboxed files when I close the browser.
    - And second probably more difficult to answer question: If I additionally run Firefox with Online Armor's "run safer" feature, is NoScript still necessary?

Because I don't like this endless fiddling with NoScript, trust, allow, temporary allow... Ugh! Disgusting! :p

    Cheers

I have Noscript because I heard Sandboxie does not protect against XSS attacks and I want to have Noscript to block them.

What is so dangerous about XSS attacks in simple words ?
    EDIT :
Never mind, I'm reading about it.

On any given website, to switch Untrusted to Allow, or Allow to Untrusted, simply left-click the NoScript icon.

    Relatively painless that way.

Speaking of SBIE -- the added features that you get with the registered version seem very worthwhile to me. Agree? Disagree? (I would appreciate comments either way)

the question regarding noscript and sbie, i'd say XSS...
