    Wasn´t this done a long time ago? Also, I get the feeling that it´s stone ages behind tools like EMET, MBAE and HMPA. ;)

    As far as usefulness, I was talking about the sources. :) IIRC Wehntrust was the basis for original ASLR algorithms in Vista, but yes, things have moved on since then.
     
  4. I thought it was open source longer now. Imagine some anti-exploit vendor to jump in and offer a special XP-version with whentrust based memory randomizing. Whentrust started to offer a limited free version to help iron out the bugs they faced on dfferent plaforms (client PC's). Before they dropped the commercial version, they also offer the full version for free. Remembered it worked fine on my XP config, but when adding other HIPS like softwre it resulted in dumps/blue screens.
