website says forbidden on TOR

    I am usingTOR and I tried to visit this site and it says 'forbidden' pls tell me what to do. Thanks a lot.

    never had any problem w/ this site while using tor ... what is the exact error message your getting? might be polipo losing connection.

    I've had something similar in the past, I didn't get "forbidden" as the word. I believe that some sites ban some TOR IPs, then they store a "forbidden" cookie on your system. I solved it be clearing the cookies then accessing without TOR. If you really need TOR, you could try refreshing your identity.

    Click the Tor icon in the system tray and select "New Identity". Maybe a new exit node will allow you. to access the site. But I have gotten that message before by going to a site that no longer exists.
