    Probably an oversight of Webroot.

I have 5.5.7. I was offered the 5.8 'upgrade', 'took advantadge' of it, but I quickly discovered that the 5.8 version was unstable, (confirmed by Webroot) and I'm back to 5.5.7.

Maybe they are testing 5.8 in Australia ?

I downloaded the one from aus and it was 5.5.7 from 2007, not 5.8.

See also my thread in the anti-malware section.

I'm using the Spy Sweeper without their antivirus, behaviour blocker, firewall.

For as far as I know:

There is the vanilla Spy Sweeper, without antivirus.
We also have the Spy Sweeper with antivirus, this includes a behaviour blocker (or is that part of the firewall ??).
And there is the Webroot Desktop Firewall.

Various combinations are possible. There are also several versions, with different builds.

And it seems that Webroot is working on a 'suite'.
