I am running it together with ESET Smart Security 5 Release Candidate, it all seems to be working fine.

Since the SafeOnline tab was replaced by the lock on the sys tray icon adding protection for a site has meant opening the GUI and adding the address manually. When I raised this point at the start of the closed beta I was informed that an entry would be added to the right click function on the icon for this operation. The icon has been made more visible and the lock bigger as also requested :thumb: any idea when the right click function will be added?

Anyone else having issues with Opera 11.50 and entering Banking info? When I start to add the Banking info it starts in the web address line even though the cursor is on the line to add the banking info!

Running WSA with Chrome (and EAM, OA & Admuncher). A few websites makes Chrome freeze and crash. When testing the same sites with IE9, it's fine. When shutting down WSA, the sites don't crash on Chrome... so something's up with WSA and Chrome on my end. I of course reported the issue... but lacking the option to attach the scan log etc in the bug reporting form. Also, a ticket number for each bug report would be nice.

    My first reaction regarding WRSA
----> Really nice interface the earlier lime flavour was too sour to taste and finally WRSA team heard to suggetions of many people including me regarding the color.

Nice to hear about the public BETA:thumb:

It might be helpful to get a memory dump from the crashed Chrome process and send it to report@prevxresearch.com so that we can take a closer look.

Are you seeing this as being reproducible or is it somewhat infrequent? If reproducible, this could very well be an incompatibility between EAM/OA/AdMuncher/WSA.

    Thanks for the help!

We're still working through some of the finer details of it - it might be a few weeks before it is implemented just because there are some other implications with how to track the active browser page in a secure manner.

I'll let everyone know as soon as it's in place, but in the meantime, using the Web Threat Shield/Protected Websites page is the best way to go.

When I click "Send Feedback", wishing to start a new conversation/question, I am asked to enter a password to continue previous contact. Is this correct?
The issue is that I'm not seeing any lock on system tray icon (at any stage), and also not seeing any classification of search engine results as described. Thanks.

Are you using the suite or just the AV version? AV version will not have a lock on the tray Icon as there is no Identity Shield and the same for search engine results!

    Thanks Daniel :thumb:

Don't want to use straight Google or Yahoo searches....that's why I use other search engines.

Do you see the lock in the tray Icon? And I just tried Scroogle and it's doesn't show search engine results maybe because SSL!

No lock at any stage. It's just that I'm a little worried that browsers aren't being protected at the moment, as I'm using this (since it's so good even as beta) to visit my IP site for emails etc. Best not do any online transactions until
    I'm sure I'm protected. Thanks TH :)
p.s. Perhaps HTTPS Everywhere FF addon is conflicting, but that doesn't explain issue in IE9?

Also no padlock for me, I have never seen it. Not during searching, not during http site surfing and not during https site surfing.

Using Google Chrome stable channel and Internet Explorer 9 on a Windows 7 64-bit system.

I found EAM to be the culprit in this case. Uninstalling either it or turning WSA off solved the issue. So the choice went in WSAs favor. :) It happened ALL the time in ALL new tabs in Chrome. I heavily suspect there's compability issues between the two. Now running OA/WSA/Admuncher without any problems whatsoever.

Of course, I sent you an e-mail containing the .dmp files from Chrome with the title "WSA build 7.9.0.4 crashes Chrome" to report.at.prevxresearch.com. :)

    Regards,

    Gabriel

Can you post a screen shot of the WSA GUI top left corner like I did above? And does it show all green check marks like in this picture?

    Thanks,

Can you try a reboot to see if that helps? Also if needed please uninstall reboot and install a clean copy to see if that helps!

Ok thanks, I'll try a bit of investigating to see what might be causing this. Thanks for your help, and see you later :)

Glad to hear you've found the cause - thanks for the help :thumb: Could you let me know what version of EAM you were using exactly so that we can try to reproduce it internally to correct it? I'll be looking at your crash dump as well but it might have differing version numbers.

    Thanks!

Are you using any sandboxing applications or other browser security applications? They could possibly be preventing some of the communication from taking place properly.

Regarding the support inbox - you can write in directly using the same credentials, the message will be merged with your other messages but we'll be able to see the difference when responding.

    Thanks!
