Is there any test review about webroot?
They don't participate in av-test, Av Comparatives, or in any test I have seen recently.

I hard to figure out how good or bad is without this test, and I know it works a little bit different that the other AV's but still.
Probably a stupid question but I guess is still compatible with any AV, right? meaning that you have have WSA and any other AV installed at the same time.

I run WSA alongside EAM with no issues. Not necessary, but why not ... :)

Just protect keepass.exe in c:\program files (x86) and never mind the .dll's the .exe needs to be protected!

    HTH,

    Daniel :)

Oh, I did that, and I blocked the whole web shield. It generates too many FPs regarding malware and phishing sites. Also disabled the add-on in browsers.

Original Beta tester, also part of the group in webroot community.

Great then you should have the new Web Filter Driver and Extensions are at:
PC - Webroot Web Filtering Beta Update - 1.2.0.14
And your still having lots of FP's? You should report it in the Beta Group.

When I posted the quoted comment, I didn't have a screenshot with me... but now I have it. WSA (stable build) several times block innocent websites, which are even whitelisted in brightcloud. I have even tested that this is not a synchronization issue about newly whitelisted sites.

Odd, I am a Calcutta Telephones user myself, and just checked, it was not blocked here. I have everything enabled, Web filter, driver, everything. Maybe WSA is caching some results in local machine and update in a schedule?

Suddenly the site got blocked... I had visited the site before, but then none such thing happened. This is not a new thing to me... several such innocent sites are blocked time to time (I didn't make a list) which are whitelisted in brightcloud. One example is ~hindustancopper.com~

Until relatively recently, the Webroot Web Filtering Extension was indeed giving loads of FPs, specifically when utilising "Open Link in New Tab" within Firefox. However since v.1.0.0.59 of this Browser Extension was released (For Beta version, this was 1st/2nd May of this year. Unfortunately I do not have a record of release date to Consumer Version, but as you will see even in Consumer Version we are now well beyond this Browser Extension version), this particular bug has for me entirely disappeared.

I would therefore be very interested to know the date of your screenshot.

How come your still on the 2012 and 2013 early Web Filter and it's block window? It should look like this since the latter half of 2013 till now:
