Dan, I am sure, always, about WSA. :D

P.S. I was on the phone, otherwise I would have seen your reply and replied, earlier.

As it should be and is and even in the days of Prevx before Webroot Acquired Prevx in Nov 2010! Also your link is no good anymore: http://www5.nohold.net/Webroot/ukp.aspx?pid=10&app=vw&vw=1&login=1&json=1&solutionid=857&#80473

Really good video on how Webroot works/why there are these small "-Further scan engine improvements." updates

If you would have spent time understanding how WSA is developed you would have not posted the above. There are two main lines: The official releases and the development build for a pool of beta users. The latter is continuous, so beta testers can always be on the latest technology developed. If instead you are a normal user you will not see all of these. I wonder where all this hate comes from... oh.. yeah I possibly know.. it starts with M... :D . Don't always trust a single user review. WSA is a fine product.

+1 to what fax has said, and to add to that. Webroot have done away with the farcical year versions and is effectively following a major and minor function based approach (we recently went from v8.0.7.nn to v8.0.8.nn) which makes much more sense...again as fax as stated.

And the Consumer Release Version is pretty continuously updated too. So far we are on the fifth version (v8.0.8.53) this year.

Well since the program is just under 800KB and it updates in a blink of an eye, this just tells us they are always working to keep ahead of the new emerging malware and it's nothing new even in the Prevx days so I will say what one of your buddies always say we Kool Aid drinkers know how things work with WSA but I know it's more than most people can comprehend as WSA is a Full Cloud Anti-Malware and know one even can come close to the WIN Cloud! http://www.brightcloud.com/platform/webroot-intelligence-network.php and if you want to learn a bit just watch this from the Webroot's YouTube Education Channel
    Code:

    Thanks,

    TH :)

Installed WSA on my sister's laptop again. I love it because it's so light, super fast scans, and just solid overall.

One question though, does anyone know how I can exclude a file? I can't find it in the menu

I know it very well and would use it if it weren't for their horrible Webroot Filter that despite my many complaints still didn't fix their aggressive FPs towards well known sites. Otherwise it's great and light. I haven't used my 3 year license in over 1.5 years due to their FPs and no, I don't want to disable the webroot filter extension, if I have an AV, I would like to use it with all its bells and whistles without crippling my experience online.
