Don't they are looking for any Beta users at Webroot? I hope there will be a test where you now how Webroot scores in detection because there aren't any at this moment.

There is no Official Beta testers Group anymore just the one's that Joined in early 2011 and they all have the beta Download link and you can use any keycode on the Beta. Also Webroot can't be tested at this time as they don't allow WSA to use it's full features but if they change there testing methodologies maybe then. But you have been here for awhile and do you see any complaints of infections by it's users? Real World testing is the way to go and the only thing IMO WSA needs to be more proactive with is PUP's or PUA's but they say it's a legal issue but hopefully that will change in the near future. Also all WSA users can help by Kudoing this Idea then that will get the attention of the Webroot Higher ups.

Great let us know what they come up with! I already said that they are working on a Completely new Web Filter and it should be out in the early new year and hopefully it will support more browsers and I said Hopefully.

Well, I have been using SecureAnywhere™ AntiVirus for PC Gamers for a month or so.
I have used all the big security suites before. I have never seen a scan as fast as this. With other suites, it was scan and go to bed. With SecureAnywhere™ AntiVirus for PC Gamers I can literally watch and wait while it scans.
Also, this is truly the only solution for gamer's when performance is everything.
    Love this.

Awesome and yes WSA's default Deep Scan is all you need and mine scans in 30 to 40 seconds as I use SDD's and the Realtime Shield is always active looking out for malicious behavior. As the Cloud does all the work and you enjoy using your PC what it was made for right? http://www.brightcloud.com/platform/webroot-intelligence-network.php

When I do inquire support to whitelist certain files, I scan the folder with WSA, save the log and copy (U) the entries into my support request like this:

    [ U ] c:\program files (x86)\emet 5.1\emet_service.exe [MD5: B4BA0736D3D2736E3862697776866986] [Flags: 00081101.2586]

The only question I have is which support category would be the best in this case? I am somehow torn between technical issue and other.

I always put it under Threat Found - False Positive category as that goes to the Threat Researchers and they Whitelist them.

Why doesn't WSA participate in AV Comparatives or AV Test tests?

That's one of my gripes that doesn't make me feel safe about it.

Additionally, the fact that you cannot exclude an entire folder from being scanned in WSA is a big no no for me.

I have a program called SVP which helps me watch movies @ 60 FPS, that program injects code into MPC-HC to achieve this and is very popular and well known. But it works best when excluded by the AV which I cannot do in WSA

Can you please add this feature of exclusions? This is the only AV out of many that doesn't have a feature to exclude a file/folder. I know you can set it as ALLOWED in the process monitor but I simply want to exclude it and the whole folder from being scanned.

I would also like the ability to exclude a folder. Selecting only EXE files is not enough.

I think you already know the answers to your questions, from the Webroot Community: https://community.webroot.com/t5/Co...m-AV-Comparatives-and-Webroot/m-p/17708#M1115
I assume that an appropriate solution for testing WSA was not yet found.
    https://community.webroot.com/t5/Id...-specific-files-folders-from-scans/idi-p/3300

Anyway, I thought you've now given up on WSA? post #603 and post #605

Well instead of me repeating myself please have a look here:

    Excluding Folders:

https://community.webroot.com/t5/Id...-specific-files-folders-from-scans/idi-p/3300 at the end I asked for an update as it says coming soon since April 4th, 2014

Also some reasons why WSA doesn't do it at this point: https://community.webroot.com/t5/We...Exclude-folders-from-scanning/m-p/18582#M1699

    Thanks,

Default is recommended but I have these set higher and that's it! The first one is because I want to see all warnings and I don't like Auto Quarantine.
