    My personal experience shows Firefox and Opera to be equally fast, and this means every aspect of usage. Chrome comes third, but it has a terrible user interface. Internet Explorer is slow. And I never used Safari, nor felt inclined.

    From what I can tell, using my colleagues and friends as the rough statistical pool, most of browser performance issues stem from bad configurations, including network, isp and all kinds of crappy security software.

    Testing browsers of Linux makes more sense, but then native builds are not available for them all.

    Quite interesting article, even though its another piece of benchmarks (furthermore results are almost always the same, of quite similar)... Chrome number 1- next Opera, FFx, Safari, IE8 (in random positions- depends on methodology)
