The Web access protection has extensions setting, is it the same as on access scan or Web access protection will always scan all files regardless their extensions?

Also what is the difference between Web access protection anf HTTP filter? are they the same thing, as there are two different options there.

Using the extensions setting is the same in the different modules. If, “Scan all files” is selected then that is what it will do.

As for the Web access protection it uses the HTTP filter settings to decide what traffic to scan. The HTTP filter is part of the Web access protection’s settings.
