Is there a way to totally shutting down ESS without uninstalling it. I am looking for a memory conflict with another program. Thanks
If it follows the same approach as 2.7 that'll just kill the control center and not the real-time scanner.
Yep, that's just the GUI. All components will still be active. (well... the components that were marked as active before you killed the GUI!) -EDIT- To answer the original post, I think you might be able to go into Services (via Administrative Tools) and stop the ESET service. That's just a guess, though. There's certainly not an Exit option in the GUI. Steve.
