Was a determination made re: old "backdoor-g-1"?

Hi all. This is my 1st post.

Google led to this site when I searched "backdoor-g-1". Hopefully someone can help with this question:
Was this old issue from 2005 determined to be a true hacker attack or was NIS2007 giving a false positive?

If Norton says your not infected by the BackDoor.G trojan then the incidents in your Norton Firewall log are false positives.

rob c said he was clean after following the steps Blackspear gave so the incidents in his log are probably false positives.
