In regards to your question.....what is your goals...where would you like to go with computers....work....helping others.....just self-enrichment.........these really are all related due to the use of a computer.
But no....the experience levels are not the same.......perhaps someone has the knowledge to write a Program.....but no knowledge of which is the best Cooler to use when Overclocking...........someone may be great with desktop publishing but have no idea how to make firewall rules.......
An No..it does not take a zillion years to become a Guru.....there are many super good youngsters around these days............an some super good oldsters as well....................so begin....just begin....the rest will come....
