    I wonder, what it is about wrong sharing personal info, of course as long as you do not post your social or credit card numbers?
    I was afraid of Facebook too, but now I have made my profil public and I like, that all my activities are connected at one place.

    These days almost every institution have your personal info, banks and state shares that info with everyone, who they consider to be fit, you agree to it by signing contracts and so on. They even sell info about their customers to third party companies, so they could advertise, so privacy does not exist anymore.
