When trying to download vundofix from http://vundofix.atribune.org/ microsoft smartscreen pops up alert saying unsafe download. Just wondering if anyone knows why?

    Thanks,

    Chris

    Mr

No I just tried again. Are you clicking the download link, clicking save, selecting a save location, and then clicking save? Thats what I'm doing when I get the alert.

    Thanks,

    Chris

Yes, I got it too. Just report the download as safe, unless you did it already via the link. I just did it for good measure

Reported as safe but was just wondering why it would show unsafe. Thanks for testing it.

    Thanks,

    Chris

Your guess is as good as mine as why it is flagged as bad. Whatever is used to determine its state misidentified it, could be some parameter changed that triggered the detection. It is false positive so should be fixed soon
