VPN router?

    I've got a friend who has purchased a VPN router - Netgear FVS318N Prosafe Wireless N 8 port Gigabit VPN Firewall.

    He has asked me if I would set it up for him. When I've researched it, the reviews I've read make it seem like it could be a complex setup. Anyone with experience in VPN routers that can say how involved this might be?

    Product description says: "IPsec VPNs connect remote users as well as remote sites, with optional software". I've never set up IPsec, but I have read that chapter of the pfSense manual. It does seem quite complicated. But in my experience, Netgear devices have good wizards, so it may be painless.

    I downloaded the manual, which is 360 pages. Not much help. The only online tutorial I found on the netgear site is a generic setup video for all their routers.
