Your PDF shows that you or something was trying to use regedit so it best to send your logs from ProgramData to support@vodooshield.com and he will let you know what happened.

It sure should do given that satana was detected by more than 40 of the Virus Total engines. I would also expect that the Ai engine would also easily detect it.

As @Cache says VS should detect Satana, and it actually does (VS in Auotopilot mode 45/55). Ai also picks it up straight away (Unsafe - 0.9974).

Nothing is impossible but IMHO the way VS is developing I can see very little getting past it.

Thanks for the confirmation. I agree with your last sentence and believe that VS will be a leading light in the fight against malware/ransomware in the coming years.

  7. Yep, Voodoo AI is amazing. Curious to see how it will hold up when it is tested by the leading Anti Virus testing organizations. It is incredible that with the limited testing I have done it outperforms Cylance. Considering how much money Cylance has received from Venture Capitalist to develop Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning (20 U$ in series B, 42 U$ in series C and 100 U$ in series D), it is incredible how well VS is performing, considering it is a one man band operation with limited resources.

@VoodooShield Hey Dan, is it possible to do support VS with crowd funding initiative (okay I am looking at Cylance which has raised over 150 U$ and to be honest when VS does so well compared to Cylance, investing in VS certainly also looks like a good deal)

    +1
I would love a second opinion AV (or standalone) based on VoodooAI and with the VS part being optional

When you say "with the VS part being optional" did you mean with the VT (Virus Total) part being optional? Because it is optional and can be turned off under the Advanced tab. I sometimes do this and run VS in Auto Pilot mode with just VoodooAi enabled.

    I mean the anti-exe part.

I am soooo sorry that I have been so busy... I am almost caught up on everything, so I will catch up ASAP, but I just wanted to let you guys know really quick that the Windows 10 EV signed drivers are ready to go. Once I hear from Vlad, we will figure out if he has a version ready for release, and if not, we can just add these drivers to my last version until Vlad is ready to release the next version. Thank you guys, talk to you soon!

seems some people here use autopilot and some use always on. currently I have always on, paranoid and have unticked deny by default-to show prompt instead of balloon.

tried the cuckoo bird function in voodooshield for the first time today. used a key logger from the 90's . got a good laugh because it said only ten av's from virus total detected it.

but still was impressed by the web page.

    logitech updater is being blocked.
this is for my logitech wireless mouse.
I have allowed the process several times, but next reboot, it gets blocked again.
    what to do?
I have VS pro, if that helps any.

I'm getting a periodic freeze when I right click the voodooshield icon since the AU update.

@VoodooShield what is on your list to fix? And are you adding anything new? I run in Whitelist Smart mode.

    As far as I know:
    1. Fix freezing on some systems.
    2. Fix Disable/Install Mode so it works as it should.
    3. USB Mode has it been fixed to be ON whenever a USB device has been inserted no matter what?

    Any others please post.

    Thanks,

    Daniel ;)

Dan started a list in post #11572 with a few more things than you mentioned. There may be one or two extra to be added following suggestions from others, like @guest in post #11593.

    1. Freeze issue (most likely a privilege / permissions issue)
    2. guest's custom folder GUI bugs
    3. Chrome update issue / Blacklist showing unknown file
    4. Dismhost bug
    5. The suspended process from CS's video
    6. Review all of the changes we have made in the last 3 months, especially the new shield flashing so that VS does not turn white

my addition: whitelist processes initiated by peripherals, such as logitech mouse and hp printer

Yeah, exactly... for some reason that CL is stubborn, but I will figure it out at some point.
