The User Log does not always contain complete block infos.

    That issue still persists...

I just saw this on Win 7 Pro 64-bit while trying to update Google Chrome via Ninite Updater.
The last entry blocked in User Log was c:\windows\installer\msi2073.tmp.

Still having problems with USB scanner. VS has to be shut down for it to scan. Training is not effective.

    VS 3.07. Win 8.1

Sorry, I totally forgot, if you uncheck the option in Settings / UI Tweaks "Enable Countdown Timer...", this is the same as having no time limit. Although, we might want to add it to the drop down menu as well. Thank you!

Yeah, if the user returns to a web app, VS should prompt them to turn itself back on. Also, VS should turn itself back on automatically in 5 minutes. That is what is key with VS... making sure that it is on when it needs to be, and off when it needs to be. Thank you!

Hmmm, that is odd... it should have added it to the whitelist. I might depend on your settings as well. Please let me know if this continues to be an issue. Thank you!

Thank you ichito and paulderdash!!! It looks like the issue is the .tmp extension... if so, this will be an easy fix. I am pretty sure this is what is going on... it makes sense that this is the issue anyway. Thanks again!

Hey David, thank you for letting me know. Can you please let me know exactly what VS blocking? Is it a process or a command line?

You might try to shut down VS and then remove all of the files from the C:\ProgramData\VoodooShield folder... this will probably fix the issue, but VS will lose its settings and whitelist. Thank you!

    Hello everyone!
I was missed for some time but I have a good excuse. My second daughter was born two weeks ago, so I have to take some time and reduce my work on VS, because it's not my main work and I spent most of free time with the family. For now I'll fix bugs mostly and will be available for questions by mail and here.

I will release the new VS version with some bug fixes in the next few days. I'm aware about the bug with an empty user prompt, however I didn't have a chance to reproduce it. I'll continue trying and hopefully that fix will be in the next release as well

    Thanks
