Hmmm, sorry about that. Was there a version of VS that did not have this issue?

I wish we could change the search results from google, and it would be really simple to do so, but at least for now we have to keep it the way it is. I added the detection ratio, thank you for the suggestion!

I think it will work great the way it is, but if you find a sample that can do this, please let me know and I will make sure that it works. Thank you!

This should be fixed in 2.31m, which I will upload soon.

Thank you for the suggestion, I posted a sample recently when I posted a new beta version.

Interesting, thank you! Yeah, it looks like it is marked as High because of the initial HDD utilization when loading the settings. I will see if I can fix this, but there may not be a way around this.

Thank you, that is great to hear that you like VS! Yeah, like WildByDesign suggested, if possible, I would disable VS during Windows updates. VS should allow the updates either way, but whenever there is any kind of system maintenance, it is probably best to disable VS if possible.

Sounds great, thank you. If this continues to be a problem, please let me know what versions of VS work well with XP and which ones do not.

Thank you for the suggestions, I added this. I actually removed the AppData / ProgramData option because we really do not need it anymore since VS does hash comparison as well.

Possibly, but I think it is kind of nice to have them available all of the time. We could always change that though. I have not added the export user log, but at some point I can. Thank you!

Yeah, in Windows XP, there might be times when VS uses excessive CPU cycles. Once we implement the KMD this will no longer be an issue.

The pdf reader issue should be fixed, but if not, please let me know. I also added a button in Settings / Utility to reset the threats blocked count. The threats blocked only increase when the cloud based scan detects a threat... not when VS blocks something (and a threat was not detect). Currently, the user log does not specify that a threat was detected, but that might be a good thing to add at some point. Thank you!

Thank you, I am happy you like VS! I have not seen this issue with explorer reloading. Please try 2.31m when I upload it, and if it continues to be an issue, please let me know.

We need to keep as many differences as possible between the Free and Pro version, including the hiding in full screen. Otherwise, there will be hardly no differences between the 2. Please email me at support@voodooshield.com and I will set up a free Pro license for you. Thank you!

Please try 2.31m after I upload it, and if this happens again, can you please send me a screenshot? Thank you!

It really is up to the user. I prefer Smart Mode, but a lot of people prefer Always ON. The whole idea is that you start VS in Training Mode, then run it in Smart Mode for awhile, then after it is well trained, then maybe switch to Always ON. Thank you!

Good to hear, thank you! I think a lot of moderate to advanced users can just use VS, but it never hurts to have an additional layer of protection!
