Latest version 2.23b beta installed without uninstalling the old version, then rebooting. Running well. Also, I didn't see those entries that I mentioned recently, this time around. ;)

I think the service was ASLR enabled the last time I checked, but the other executable was not. I don't have VS on this machine. I will remind Dan to enable ASLR for the other one. I think it may have even been enabled at one time, or another. I'm not sure what happened. I think he will be able to do this relatively quickly.

I just sent Dan an email. I think he intended to enable ASLR, and probably got side tracked doing something else.

Cool, thank you guys for letting me know how 2.23 is doing!

Yeah, I will enable ASLR and DEP, and run it over the weekend and see how it does. It is already enabled in the service, so it should be fine in the GUI as well.

I agree Windows_Security, the free version probably does offer too much ;). Thank you guys!

No biggy. Early is my VS experience. I was hoping VS and SBoxie would communicate but, no biggy. I'm running Shadow Defender. VS and my other Tools play well in Shadow Mode. Maybe you'll consider right click context menu virustotal scan in lieu of SBoxie delete cmd. SBoxie users will adapt. :) Disable VS and dump sand.

Just installed 2.23b. Tried to install over the top but too many protests from Sandboxie. Uninstall and install seem to be ok.

Still have problems with Otter with this syntax
    "G:\Program Files (x86)\Otter Browser\otter-browser.exe" --profile "F:\program settings\Otter\Otter"

On reboot VS treats it as a new installation. Clicking Allow then Otter will run but no profile. Close down Otter and restart then it loads ok with the profile. VS is unable to learn this process through a reboot.

Retrain ~ SMOOTH ~ Aside: Installed new program with VS in Training. VS flashed blue USB.

Yeah, I will see if Chris can think of a way around it, but so far I have not come up with anything, unless we wanted to hardwire in exceptions for SB, which we might do. Thank you!

Cool, thank you for letting me know. I tried to reproduce the behavior with Otter a couple of weeks ago, but I was not able to do so. I will try it now and see what happens.

BTW, I looked into the whole ASLR / DEP issue over the weekend, but it is going to take a little more time. I hope the next release will include this!

Edit: I just figured out what the issue was... the obfuscator I was using was messing up ASLR / DEP, so I am testing it now.

Hehehe, I know, odd, huh? But look at the size of VoodooShield.exe after it is installed ;). Now it is only 1.6 mb... it used to be 2.1mb!

Really the only thing new in this version is the ASLR and DEP. The previous version was mainly tons of cleanup and redoing the prompts into plain text.
