We use VNC on a regular basis to admin remotely some of our client PCs. Every time I try to use it, Ewido flags it and interrupts me.

Any way around this? I still wish there were a button that says "never do this again, dammit!"

This will be implemented with version 4.0... In the meantime we plan to add a way to ignore all "Not-A-Virus." items.

Dont suppose you have any further or closer dates to this do you? It's really driving me nuts as i use VNC as remote desktop support.

Soz to be a pain in the butt.

Isn't this just a False Positive? Although it says not a virus,
it does remove it from your computer.

So update your signatures i would say.

No, it's not a false positive, and it makes you click on "allow access" every time.

If I'm doing 8 things at once and moving very quickly, sometimes I accidentally click on BLOCK AND CLEAN instead...and then I have to reinstall VNC from scratch, etc. etc.

    So yes, it's a problem.

It is detected by a malware scanner isn't it?

Why not detect MS office as well and make an 'allow access' for that?

Please explain that to my customers ...

There is no reason for detection,
why not detect 'remote desktop in XP pro' ?
    :D
