I get this problem when installing VMWare Converter.
I can not get the software installed because of this. A search for it on VMWare forum returns no help.

If any one encountered, pls tell how you over came it.
I guess it comes down to: which services are necessarily running in order for VMWare converter to install successfully.
    Error:

"Error1920. Service VMWare Converter Service (ufad-p2v) failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services."

Hello eniqmah, I was going to ask if you rebooted but your post sounds like it is happening whilst installing? Is this the case?

You better list os and VMWare products

Enable Netbios over tcp/ip and set tcp/ip NetBIOS Helper and Server service to automatic.

    Oh my.
It can't install completely, will stop @ the errror and undo all the installation. So no rebooting. This is on XPP. I think I killed Netbios with seconfigxp. That's probably why. Thanks a lot. I'll try and report back.
