    Hi,

I tried to partition my disk (Vista Pro) with DD 9 Rescue disk. I now get an error message "winload.exe" is missing.
It's look like I need to do a repair of Vista. Will Vista be completely new installed or will my profiles/documents/programs be still there after the repair ?
    Thanks for your help

This is easy to fix if you have a Vista DVD. All that is wrong is that the new Vista boot loader needs to correct the pointer that tells Vista where the boot files are located.

To fix, just boot to the Vista DVD and choose "Repair My Computer". Allow the automated wizard to do the repair. Reboot into Vista when you are done.

You won't lose any of your documents/programs and no re-installation takes place.
