    Hi All!

Yesterday I decided to do some partitioning, so I decided to archive the current snapshot I was in just in case of trouble. I archived to an external drive.

I later needed to restore that archived snapshot to use. After booting to that snapshot I decided to check Windows Update. It reported that updates had never been installed, and upon clicking the "view updates history" link, it showed no updates. I then checked for the installed updates by clicking the "installed updates" link. That did find the installed updates, but that list does not give details like the "review update history" list.

This has happened before, again, if I remember correctly, only after restoring from an archived snapshot.

I would appreciate any comments on this, and if there is a way to get Vista to read the history again.

    Thanks,
    Duke
