Windows Vista will hit market on Jan 2007, while corporates will have it this month Nov 2006.

What are Vista compatible security softwares?

If you know one, please name it here.

The only one I know is NOD32 2.7

Add any Vista ready Security Software AV, AT, AS, Firewall, HIPS or whatever.

Symantec AntiVirus Corporate Edition 10.2 and McAfee VirusScan Enterprise 8.5i are in the final stages of Vista ready testing and will be ready very soon.

Sophos AntiVirus will support Vista in early December 2006. http://www.sophos.com/support/knowledgebase/article/6071.html

BitDefender has released 10.1 beta for Vista RC2

PC-Cillin's beta for Vista runs until the end of Dec and not sure when it will be final.

LOL security software on vista ? vista its self is going to create so many fundamental flaws its not even funny . . Completely new rewritten TCP/IP stack for example .. bad idea. My suggestion is boycot vista untill at least LEAST Sp1 maybe SP2

    > My opinion

It is not me but Microsoft said that OneCare can run on Vista RC1 ,see here.

BTW, F-Secure Anti-Virus for Windows Vista 7.00 beta is also available.

they might say it will but it wouldn't even install on my VistaRc1 ultimate. It just said it was incompatable and that was that. The live one care MS is talking about is a new beta just for Vista.

I see there are a lot of products ready for vista, but what is your impression on them ?? I haven't used Vista yet (planning to in the future) but I'm really curious which of these anti-virus products will show some muscles
