ok, im having trouble playing ANY dvd on my laptop, it goes straight into BSOD and reboots.

ok, i thought it was my laptop so i tried it on my PC, it crashes when trying to play dvds on that aswell,

is ANYONE having this problem aswell?

ive tried downloaded dvd's which have been burnt to disk, and also original dvds, and it does it with both.

its not the player, it doesnt even get to an 'autorun screen'

soon as the disk is inserted, seconds later .... BSOD

Maybe one or more of your device drivers are not updated. Try updating the device driver for your dvd drive if possible to see if it solves the problem.

Which media player programs are you using on your computer?

No problem here I just inserted a DVD I downloaded and burned, and it started to play automatically in windows media center :D Didnt download any special codecs neither. My guess is a driver corruption, try a restore and see if that fixes it

Just watched the Entire Movie Million Dollar Baby with Windows Media Center, smooth clear picture, no flickers jumps or anything, and no BSOD either

Ok! what I have found is that with Rollback Rx Pro 7.2.1 installed on my systems, I get exactly the same problem as C.S.J, when I uninstall Rollback, the problem is solved, so I sugest a system resore to a point before installing Rollback Rx Pro, and wait untill Horizon DataSys release version 8 which is fully Vista compatible, this should be released sometime in March ;)

yep, i already figured out it was rollback causing my system to crash upon inserting a dvd, didnt even make the autorun screen, un-installed it and its fixed.

i sooooooo hope version 8 will work properly on it, as i love the software.

when is it out? soon i hope
