vista boot problem

    hello: i have vista 32 oem installed. i have dds build 2160 installed oss does not recognize vista , i have read earlier posts saying that it is a known problem but did not say which builds were affected, i would appreciate it if someone would confirm it affects this build, if not am i doing something wrong thanks brian.

    DD build 2,160 is currently the latest and has a problem detecting Vista (and XP) in some cases.

    Is your Vista installation a "brand name" OEM installation (Dell, HP, Compaq, etc.) or is it from a standard Microsoft OEM DVD?

    You might want to take a look at this thread: Vista disappeared in dual boot. Post 14 details getting OSS to find and boot the Vista installation.

    thanks for reply, i have microsoft oem version,i will do as you suggest and work through the link you provided. thanks again brian.
