Vista and DD NTFS formatting

    Back when I was trying Vista, I had DD 10 2117 format a partition and Vista didn't like it!
    Crashed every time!
    Formatted with Vista... worked fine.

    Has this been addressed in the newest DD build and does the NTFS formatting now play nice with Vista?

    Vista still has a problem with installing on NTFS partitions formatted with DD (2,160). If you use DD to create the partition, just do a quick format with Windows during the installation. I normally do this and it works fine.

    I have many DD formatted NTFS partitions with Vista and haven't had any problems except when Vista is being installed.
