Sorry, I know this question has been asked before, but I cannot find the answer. Will this av scan incomming/outgoing Mozilla Thunderbird mailJ I want to say it does NOT, but I am not positive. I am also wondering why On-Access Scan is disabled whenever I start my computer? I can go to the system tray and turn it on, but it is always off at startup.

    Thanks,
    Lon

Ok, I found the answer to my first question. It apparently does not scan mail to or from thunderbird. Is that bad or would the normal on-access scan or on-demand scan pick up any problems? I still have not figured out why I have to enable on-access scan every time I start the computer. Any thoughts?

Your initial install may be corrupt.

Try a Repair from the Add/Remove of the program. If this does not work try an uninstall, reboot and a fresh install ;)

Check your on-access scan properties for "enabling on-access scanning at system start up" under the general tab. This option should be checked.

If I remember correctly (which I doubt), this option is not enabled initially.
