virus

    Hi.
    Just done a scan with kaspersky 2006 and it came up with this,
    c program files kaspersky labs avp6.........detected adware not a virus adware
    Any advice please.

    Also a pop up has alerted me with this,
    Adware
    not a virus adware.180 solutions
    c.......00000086.bak

    I think this is not in the appropriate thread...

    BTW the adware your infected is called 180Solutions. Dont know much about it.

    Well sorry then .
    It came after an update so not knowing much i thought it was a kaspersky bug or something

    I may have got it useing firefox optimizer,which i used after seeing a link to it on wilders

    Just checked it .
    no it wasnt that.
    deleated it so its gone now
