Virus???

    Yeah! What gives? I got it as well on one of the file I downloaded, and I cannot access the file, it not quarantined also... Is OK, is it the name of the virus?

    May be a big in ESS or simply someone in the VirusLab put "is OK" as a name :D :D :D

    Yeah! I got the same one on the screenshot above... The file is still there not quarantined but if I try to access it, it say block or some apps are using it, so basically it is being locked by ESS...

    Isn't that a bit strange?
    Where is the file than?
    Are you sure it isn't doing its "job"?

    No, it's not running or anything, I tried to see everything on Process Explorer and it was not running. Can't access it or even delete it... And the pop-up now keeps coming every ten minutes...

    Have you performed full scan just in case ... to see if there is anything else? I have no idea if it is real threat or just a bug

    The log file says this:
    4/15/2007 6:57:40 PM eAmon file Q:\X Y Z\Apex Video Converter Super v5.48\avcs.exe is OK Event occurred during an attempt to access the file by the application: C:\Windows\explorer.exe.

    Marcos and other ESET Mods knows more .

    Can you upload this avcs.exe to VirusTotal here to see if other antivirus programs + NOD32 v2.7 detect it . Let us know how you're going ?

    Sorry, I have deleted the file already because it annoying to have the pop-up showing every few minutes...

    Is it possible you or ESS have backed it up in the Quarantine ? :rolleyes:

    It's already been fixed, please update to version 2202.
