o_OI just had 13 virus on my computor.
    Can someone help me.
    I have spybot Search & Destroy S&D 1.2 installed
but was wondering how and if any damage could
have been caused. The virus detected were
    Backdoor.Apdoor & Dropper.Inor.A
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks buttermaid2002

    Which program detected the viruses?
Which were the exact names of the viruses given by av software?
What are the exact file names and path of the infected files?

This is not an antivirus program. Spybot searches for Spyware related stuff but not for viruses.

These are Backdoor trojans. Potential damage: Somebody could have stolen information from your pc. First think you should do is change all your passwords.

    What were the other viruses?

Do not post multiple threads, it is confusing.

    Anyway.

I think take your self to www.pandasoftware.com/activescan and run that.

If that shows you clean you have NO viruses.

Or it will remove the virus.

Spybot is not a virus scanner but it does detect the odd trojan.

Get yourself dedicated antivirus for this job, and it is free: www.avast.com or www.grisoft.com for free antivirus, only install Avast OR Grisoft AVG, not both.

    Regards.
