Have Nod32 2.12.3 installed on 2 networked pc's running XP home SP2( one recently detected the win32/kelvir.k worm). The question concerns some missing virus signatures....1.1070 and 1.1068,
1.1071 throu to 1.1076 have all updated ok. The pc is shutdown when not in use, could this be the cause of the missing signatures.
My settings are configured to the guide by Blackspear (many thanks, most helpfull). Below is a part of my log

    Time Module Event User
24/04/2005 21:34:28 Kernel The virus signature database has been updated successfully to version 1.1076 (20050424).

20/04/2005 08:59:54 Kernel The virus signature database has been updated successfully to version 1.1071 (20050419).
19/04/2005 16:57:59 Kernel The virus signature database has been updated successfully to version 1.1069 (20050419).
17/04/2005 11:42:43 Kernel The virus signature database has been updated successfully to version 1.1067 (20050417).

    kind regards.....Cliff :doubt:

My pleasure and welcome to Wilders Cliff.

What happens is that if you miss a signature or 10+, then when you next update it gets every single signature you missed through to the current one.

    Hope this helps...

    Cheers :D

    Thanks...Cliff :)
