Virus scanning recommendations, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, or Windows XP

    Thank you for the article. But doesn't av scanners skip locked system files anyway?

    No, I didn't noticed it never to be honest, I'll check them the next time.

    Just always scanning with kav or gdata av, they show a lot of skipped locked system files in their full-scan logs. I was just guessing that mentioned files in the article were some of these 'locked' ones. :)
