Well, the guys over at VC are FINALLY going International, it seems the Australian branch is the first step. The prices are quite cheap in fact, AUD29.99 for the download version and AUD49.99 for the retail version. I think currently the website only sells to customers from Australia, but I will ask about this. :)

Overally, very nice to see. The website is pretty much a direct translation of the Korean VirusChaser website.

I also contacted them. One strange thing I noted is that the VC Hong Kong branch told me that Virus Chaser was supported on Windows Vista 32-bit, but the AU branch says Vista support is coming "very soon". o_O

About purchase, the website is not fully functional yet - can't blame them, there is a lot of translation from Korean to do here. Especially with the manuals, helpfiles, virus descriptions etc. - there has been no decent English version of those for a while now. :)

The ONLINE PURCHASE (Download) option can be used to purchase VC internationally, however, the Box edition will be sold in Australia only. The prices will be charged in AU dollars though, so those who want their cards to be billed in their home currency only should stay out for now.

But whats great is that the prices are really cheap - about $25 USD for a 1-year (electronic) license! :)

I think Australians will buy Dr.Web to Virus Chaser.

Although Virus Chaser use same engine as Dr.Web, Dr.Web's will be more updated. Right?:p

C.S.J..........Why do you doubt the Aussies will purchase drweb? Is there some bad blood between the Aussies and drweb?

I'm just this curious kind of guy. I need to know details. ;) :D

    why?
    because it doesnt make sense.

the aussies dont own VC either, its just being sold there now.......

and VC dont own any of drweb, they just licence their engine.

why on earth would the russians sell to the aussies, and vice versa for buying....... where has this come from? *DOH*

Ok, I see what you are getting at now. When I read your original comment, it didn't make sense to me.
