I've waited to install my copy of VIPRE Antivirus Premium I got for free during that Twitter promotion a while back. I was waiting until there was a bit more feedback and testing of the product. So I finally installed it, and put the firewall in learning mode and I was off. Everything seemed fine, I didn't mind the firewall pop ups at all.
Problem started at boot up the next day. For some reason all my external HDD'S disappeared. I finally figured out that it was Vipre, uninstalled it and everything was fine.
Any ideas how I can fix this?? I'd really like to use the program.

    Thank You

I haven't heard of a problem like this before. Are these external drives connected through something like USB or are they network drives?

If you temporarily disable the firewall are you able to access the drives? How about if you shutdown VIPRE?

Try to re-install VIPRE and then see if problem exists or not...This is something strange, and never heard ever.
