Viewpoint Media Player?

Today's Mystery Software (all in "program files" in XP-H):

I am getting mellower by the minute. I love all my programs, I just want to know a little more about them.

Viewpoint/Viewpoint Media Player: 12 files, 5 folders (2.57 MB)
- I am guessing was installed with Netscape 7.1, which apparently Netscape 7.1 incorporates Aol Instant Messenger
- VMP ( and AIM) both appear to have critics, yet i do not comprehend what they claim to do, much less what they actually do.
-(btw, I uninstalled netscape, and yet VMP still maintains a residence here. I will probably reinstall netscape 7.1 as soon as I finish giving IE-6 with sun's JAVA another chance to fail at handing java).

Why is it here, what does it do, can it be deleted?
