Regardless of age, How many people still play video games? I've been playing video games since Atari was popular and have kept up with it.
I have only ever watched my son playing them, I always find it difficult to figure out who is supposed to be doing what.
Not really, any more, perception and reflexes are a far cry from what they used to be. Got a little hand-held video poker thingie, though, that keeps me occupied while defragging or doing an a-v scan or larger-than-molecular downloads.
Must be - mostly I play Operation flashpoint and C&C Zero Hour with my buddies - one Englishman and several Dutchmen. I used to plau DF2 online and then BHD and even Joint Operations for a while but it didn't really prove worthwhile. I have played Empire Earth with others against the AI players (lots of fun there also) and I suppose any number of other games that weren't as important. My first was the original Doom over a pair of 14k phone modems with my good buddy a few blocks away in middle school
Surely I've spent a lot of my pocket-money on the arcade machines in the early eighties (pacman!). And boy, was I glad with the first pinball games on computer; didn't cost me a guilder anymore Had my Commodore 64 loaded with all sorts of silly games. But really 'addicted' I became with the entrance of the NES game console; one of my all time favourites still is: The legend of Zelda. What a lovely game! And even now, in nowadays 3D game-world, with far better graphics, I hardly ever find a game that can compare. Today, I usually check out new games for about an hour or so, to discover I just don't like to play them (til finish). Mostly I just want to take a look around in the fantastic graphic sceneries. Always love to take a ride "Underground", with my 'Need 4 Speed' I do like a good game of virtual soccer now and again, and sometimes when I had a hard day at the office, a WWII shooter will do wonders play on! slammer
I only play one video game. Hilarious. It's called "TenForward". Really funny stuff there. Play on, big ed
To say I'm a 15 year old boy, possibly the main target of the people who create video games, I hardly ever play on them anymore. Jimbob
I play them whenever I get an itch. I still bring out my old NES and play some Zelda or Ninja Gaiden. I love the graphics of the new gaming systems, but they just don't have as much game play value as did the games up to PSOne. I have pretty much all the systems since NES. My current fav game is Halo2 and Madden2005
Still waiting for an updated version of UFO-Enemy Unknown to be released. Now thats what I call a game
I didn't get the xbox live because I don't feel like adding my xbox to my network. Plus, its kinda far to my switch and I don't want cable strung out across the house. I might do it eventually, but I'm content with just kicking my friends arses for now.
ROFLMAO Now that one game is perfectly made for you, Blazey! (In fact; one could be thinking it was made BY you, hahaha! ) BLAST on greetz, slam
It does, however other here in the UK, there is a problem. There has not been much news to tell recently and so the news has turned towards this computer game. Some people are claiming that this game is too violent and is being aqcuired by many people under the age of 18 (the certificate given to the game). However, this argument has been going on for a long time, since around or before Columbine. Jimbob
