Whenever I open an e-mail in Outlook Express now, there is a slight pause (mouse freexes for a split second) and the entire e-mail message highlights itself (all the words). Then...for a split second, a little dialog box pops up (only for like 1/2 second)...it says transferring data with a little bar graph that quickly goes form left to right. Almost seems like my email message is being transferred somewhere. This appens on all messages...even ones I have saved. If I bring one up...even an old one...this happens every time. Just started doing this today.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Hi Kegel

ok, I take it you have done the usual:

Scan with everything AV/AT/SSD/AAW and any results?

No Outgoing alerts from a FW?

    Have you rebooted?

Did you load any new programs of any description lately?

I just wanted to see if you have done the obvious first, not that I have any real idea of why it would do that, but it certainly seems very strange behaviour, not the usual 'hang/freeze/gone nuts' type of behaviour especially as it seems to be copying them to somewhere.

Is it only with emails or also with other texts, documents, anything else?
Did you also have Port Explorer up and can you see if there is any nex traffic?
Does it work that way with every email, the graphic ones as well as TXT format?
