I used the trial version, and yesterday purchased the full version. Nice!

I do notice something interesting: I seem to be getting more pop-ups. Not a lot, but occasionally one gets through.
I believe that Norton had an additional blocker which NOD lacks.

I use ZA Pro, Firefox, AdAware, Spybot and Defender. I believe Defender is the only one that protects in "real time", so I manually scan with the others.
Hmm...I just changed ZA's Ad Blocking to medium...maybe that will help.

I do have Java enabled (my wife likes the graphics, etc, but it does tend to slow the loading of pages a bit).

Are the Firefox add-ons a good idea? AdBlock, etc?

    Thanks,
    Bob

NOD32 also protection from non-viral malware , even better than Windows Defender . I suggest you get rid of (uninstall) Ad-Aware SE and Windows Defender . Use only NOD32 , Spybot S&D and your firewall. ;)

Having and using the others is just pointless.

The advice from Adblock Plus's developers is NOT to use Filterset.G Updater

Instead, the 3 subscriptions here are very effective.
