Although version stated is .14, really don't see a lot of dif in GUI between it and .6. Also upper r/h corner still states "Beta". Ya think version was released to soon?

Sorry to hear can I ask if you tried a clean install? If not uninstall and reboot and download a clean copy http://anywhere.webrootcloudav.com/zerol/wsainstall.exe and install and make sure you have a copy of your Keycode. Also if that doesn't work I think it's best to wait for Joe to reply before I suggest you contact the WSA support inbox.

There isn't but from v8.0.1.233 it's a big difference and you are still part the the Beta Test group! ;)

    Hi TH

As a little test I did just that; uninstalled the beta and installed a fresh copy downloaded from the Webroot site. Now what I currently have installed proclaims itself to be SecureAnywhere ONLY, ie, it no longer displays the Essentials moniker as before BUT does NOT display anything to advise as to which flavour of WSA I am running, ie, AntiVirus, Internet Security Plus or Complete.

So now am really confused...as I do not have the added password protection or mobile security (Internet Security Plus) but still have Backup & Sync (which I understand is now only available in Complete)...so which version should I now be on?

    I am really confused. o_O

Well it looks like the site said the "antivirus only" will now have the firewall,

I hope NOT because that is the main reason I just brought the antivirus version

I run Look'n Stop and do not want to change this
and I don't want extra features that I don't use

They run well together as I use both and it doesn't use anymore Resources and WSA's firewall is just outbound! There recommendation is to run WSA with Windows Firewall or a Firewall of your choice!

Well, I didn't want it at all, like I said I don't like things
I don't use "but" you said it is outbound only

Let me ask a question to defined this for me,

I am behind a nat router as such do not even use the internet
inbound filtering of look'nstop, I use it just to keep programs from
connecting to the internet "unless" I give them permission too

will this outbound only give a popup when a program wants to connect
to the internet so I will be able to make my own decision about allowing
    it to connect or not

    Thanks

You can set it up anyway you like, here is what it looks like from the online Help file! http://www.webrootanywhere.com/sah_Firewall.asp?n=About_the_firewall

I wonder why they added the PLUS to Internet Security?

As in Webroot SecureAnywhere Internet Security Plus

Why not only Internet Security :doubt:

I thought the storage space of essentials would be increased along with complete version. But although the space has been increased to 25gb in complete version, the backup feature has been removed altogether in essentials! Whoa!

I use AV version anyways. :D:thumb:

    Take a look in here : http://www.webroot.com/En_US/consumer-compare.html
    under System and File Protection.

Are you trying to say the backup feature is removed from essentials version in .14 and will be re-added in a future version? That we just have to wait and watch? I think you either misquoted Joe for a whole different topic or things have changed.

Backup is removed from Essentials, but all current Essentials customers are now given the full Complete product. If you're seeing something different, I recommend waiting a day or so and then contacting Support. We are changing every existing license in the background to move functionality over so it will take some time :)

Wow...so when I bought a bunch of those cheap $5 licenses of Essentials I really, REALLY got a good deal...lol. :)

I must say...really excited to see this release of WSA!!!!!

P.S. I'm not looking forward to the OCD though, as I'm probably going to have to go through all the settings again! :D
