Verify Backup on Schedule and report

I see a wish list shows TI does not do a verify after the backup but does do one before the restore. You want to know if the image is good after the backup not when you go to restore when it is too late!

Has anyone got a workaround to run some batch program to do this? I have used a lot of backup software in 20 years and verify of backups is critical especilay if using optical media.

Is it just me that thinks this is crazy?

Wish list would be

1. Verify after backup and at least log the results
2. A popup on the computer if the backup failed or did not verify
3. An email each backup showing success or failure. You need to be reminded daily on the status.

I can not see how option one can not be implemented easily.
