Per Mitya's request by PM, I sent a message to a new address at VBA yesterday. I didn't request a trial key, as I had already done so in the past, & figured that such a request was understood & needn't be endlessly repeated.

Today I heard back from VBA's Dmitry Sorkin. No trial key was provided. Instead, I was advised that requests for trial keys should henceforth be sent to...

    support-en@anti-virus.by

Ergo, it seems my unanswered prior requests for trial keys went to a black hole & count for nada. However, I am quite happy with Avira so it's no big deal. I'm done here.

Thank you for sticking with the program long enough to help sort it out for others who end up in a situation like yours.

The GUI is very low on the list at VirusBlokAda. There has been some talk of a newer interface, but they have decided that detection, rootkits and performance are a better use of time than the interface. I know typical Eastern European thinking, but still I will take improved performance over "pretty" any day :)

    Dear bellgamin,

We didn't receive your messages sent to our official beta mailbox because of some unrecognized problems. But your test mail to our another address was successful. So, it's rational to recommend it to you for requesting trial keys.

Thank you for interesting in Vba32 and we look forward to receiving your requests for trial keys.

    I must agree.
    Substance over style.
    Everything succinctly layed out.
All that I need. No more, no less.
