    Hi All,

Is anyone else having problems reaching VBA Antivirus?

Just tried them at http://www.anti-virus.by/en/index.html with no luck.

Anyone else got a different link to try?

    Cheers

    Jlo

    jlo,

The main site appears unavailable, the ftp site is online and apparently current as of today.

The latest version of the Personal a/v is 3.10.5.
Don't know about the availability of the beta though.

They have put up a new website and it is looking better.

Rather than beta-testing ask them for an evaluation keyfile for the new version ;)

Their English homepage seems remodeled, very recently. Yes, the site runs apparently very much alive. I put my words here, strongly for VBA32 antivirus. It seems again unduly awkward for me to say a praise for this software: however, I am satisfied with VBA32 antivirus, now. Thus, I bought it though I formerly relied upon Kaspersky' s and Eset' s internationally renowned product for anti-virus.

Did you download the actual beta or the latest full version?

As the beta is updateable; "To use the beta simply download and save the beta key file to the directory where you have VBA32 installed and run its internet update. It will then automatically convert it into the latest beta version."

If you did download the beta, maybe the servers were temporarily down :doubt:

You can also use the latest full version; 3.10.5 with an evaluation key.

Have you downloaded the Beta or the full version of VBA32?

If beta key-file does not work with the beta-version, worth telling their support about the problems. This would help future beta users.

    from vba32's web site:
"To use the beta simply download and save the beta key file to the directory where you have VBA32 installed and run its internet update. It will then automatically convert it into the latest beta version."

BTW, i will contact with their support team....

Demo needs an evaluation and not a beta key-file.

The dowloaded program should be 9.9MB and the key-file, 964 bytes.

If there is only one key-file present in the VBA program folder then the only suggestion I have is to uninstall VBA32, reboot, remove the program folder if it is still there, then carry out a fresh install.

During the installation process, browse and point to the place where you have dowloaded the evaluation key-file. The program then should indicate as in my screenshot, your name and not that of a beta tester.
