various adware rubbish on my computer...please help!!!

i'm having problems with the ''only the best'' pop ups, and my homepage gets changed to about:blank. i also had something about psguard or something, and i'm getting windows style warnings asking if i want to find out how to secure my computer, only taking me to a website. i have the shopping assistant that doesn't want to be removed, as well as search extender. it also sometimes doesn't let me access adkiller sites, instead sending me to usually an adultfriendfinder.com advert.

please please please someone help. my computer was working so nicely til this, now it's ruined.

sounds like hijackers to me. try downloading trials of ewido and webroots sypsweeper. if you still need more help, please post back.

You've definately got a problem with those "Only The Best" pop-ups.

.... but you lack the technical know-how to deal with it youself,
I'd suggest choosing a site from the following link to post your HJT log for analysis ....
