v3 on 64 bit windows 7?

can i use it? finding v4 a little heavy when moving large files, the scan after update etc.
anyone using it?

I haven't tested it on the x64 version, but I'm using the x86 version with no issues at all on various Win 7 clients in my office. Although it comes up with a warning about egui.exe not being compatible with Win 7, I've not had any issues at all.

My reason for ditching v4 for now was due to frequent red icon at startup, and the 'analysis of application protocols may not function' message. Eset just don't seem to have a cast-iron fix for it.

 

hi, and thanks for the reply. i have decided to give up, got less than a year left on my license and the product is just not what nod used to be. i downloaded netframework 4 and it froze for about 3 minutes then i read on here that this is yet another problem others are having. havnt got the patience.
