Powerquest V2i Protector, Symantec LiveState, Acronis TrueImage.
How those programs differ from each other or this all is the same old Powerquest program? Is Acronis really author of TrueImage or it was Powerquest? In previous thread Acronis support even was unable to answer
to my question about TI internal work....maybe I must ask those questions
    from ex Powerquest engineers?

    Ivar.

I have moved this to "software and services" as it is not an Acronis support issue.

Yes, probably TrueImage is not also Acronis issue, but rather ex PowerQuest
    issue.

p.s. who are you Detox? I mean are you from Acronis ?

I don't think so. Do you have some reason to continue making this statement? Perhaps some sort of evidence or at the very least some reasoning behind it?

No I am not from Acronis. I am a WSF Global Moderator.

    Hello Ivar,
    Hello Detox,

Thank you for your interest in Acronis True Image (http://www.acronis.com/homecomputing/products/trueimage/).

Actually, Acronis company is rather young company. But we have already released many versions of our software starting from Acronis True Image Deluxe and Acronis OS Selector Deluxe.

Furthermore, we are using Linux in our products. None of the above companies does so.

As I understood, Symantec has purchased Powerquest and their technology of live backup is taken from Powerquest research. But this is only an assumption.

    Thank you.
