Hey guys, I'm new to Hamachi. Can I use Hamachi's IP (something like 5.**.**.**) to surf internet by hiding my original IP? (Just like Hotspot Shield)

Was using CoDeeN before. They log everything. Remember the warning?! "For security reasons, we closely monitor all the activities through CoDeeN and log all the requests, and IN CASE OF ABUSE THESE MAY BE USED AS EVIDENCE IN POLICE INVESTIGATION." Yeah, but I don't care because I don't use for illegal purposes. Just to boost my security. (I know, CoDeen is a proxy and Hamachi is VPN! :D)

If so, how? When I tried, my original IP was not hidden. Help guys!

Hamachi sounds kinda scary -- joining a virtual LAN with a bunch of random people! Great for gaming, I guess. Also for hacking each other

Although it might be possible to access the net via some random IP, using Hamachi for that alone wouldn't make sense, IMHO.
