User friendly AV (Pop up less)

It's been a long time since i opened a thread.
Just today i finished upgrading a desktop PC for a relative and i've been looking for the least user dependent AV (Pop ups, taking decisions etc.) since my uncle barely knows how to use a PC properly.

I've been checking 2 options Avast! Free or Panda Cloud AV Paid (Got the license from the promo hahahaha).
If i'm not mistaken Avast! Free offers good protection based on results in the latest AV-C tests but the problem is that a good chunk of the protection is a hit or miss. (User dependent)

BTW, this is not a vs thread i just want recommendations.
One important thing to take into account before giving a recommendation is that it should be free hahahahaha.
If you wonder why i'm asking . . well i haven't changed my setup for a long time which means i've been out of the software testing biz.

 

id would go with panda cloud pro even free works.

As for avast free, it works well but the sandbox might go nuts on some programs.

 

You have to run any scans manually with PCAV Free.

 

Oh well, i'll just intall PCAV Pro then.
